Note on the Battery Act

Used batteries do not belong in household waste. You can return used batteries to our shipping warehouse free of charge. As a consumer, you are legally obligated to return used batteries.

Batteries containing pollutants are marked with a symbol consisting of a crossed-out dustbin and the chemical symbol (Cd, Hg or Pb) of the heavy metal that is decisive for the classification as pollutant:

  1. “Cd” stands for cadmium.
  2. “Hg” stands for mercury.
  3. “Pb” stands for lead.

You can of course return the rechargeable batteries and batteries we sell to us for environmentally friendly disposal.
